Duties & Responsibilities


The Human Resources Department serves all county departments by aiding in the selection and retention of qualified employees as well as providing a safe and comfortable work environment for all county employees.

The Human Resources Department is responsible for administering the county's comprehensive employment and benefits programs, including but not limited to:
  • Group health and dental insurance
  • Life / AD&D insurance
  • Family and Medical Leave Act
  • Equal Employment Opportunity
  • Vision insurance
