The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors invites you to attend the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the County's new Juvenile Justice Center. The event will be February 13th from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The ribbon cutting will be at 5:30pm and the building dedication will be held at 6:00pm. The building is to be named after the 1st County Court Judge in DeSoto County, Mills E. Barbee.

Mississippi State Treasurer, Lynn Fitch will be in attendance to oversee the event.
To see if you have property that you are eligible to claim, visit the State Treasurer's website at www.treasurerlynnfitch.ms.gov/UnclaimedProperty. On the day of the event, residents will be able to file an official claim to receive their unclaimed property. Residents will be required to provide various forms of identification in order to complete a claim. The list of necessary identification can be found at the link listed above in the "Claim Form" section.
