Trash/Recycling in Unincorporated Areas

Waste Connections will resume its normal routes in unincorporated areas starting Monday, January 22 after an unprecedented winter storm that impacted the entire county. Because the company was not able to reach all routes Monday, it has fallen slightly behind. Please place your bins on the side of the road on your normal pickup day. Waste Connections expects to be caught up by Saturday.

We realize that many of you have extra garbage and may not be able to get it all in your bin. PLEASE NOTE, Waste Connections CAN NOT pick up bags set on the ground next to your bins due to the type of trucks they drive. The automated side loader uses a mechanical arm, operated from inside the truck, to dump the trash cart. There isn't a good way to toss bags into the truck.

The County has set up dumpsters across the County for residents to dump household trash bags that won't fit in the trash bin.
