The Criminal Investigations Division is dedicated to providing quality service to the citizens of DeSoto County through successful investigations and follow ups of specific criminal actions.

The Criminal Investigations Division is primarily responsible for the investigation of major felony crimes such as:

  • Aggravated assault
  • Burglary
  • Forgery
  • Fraud
  • Homicide
  • Robbery
  • Sexual assault

Investigators in this division also look into child abuse, vehicle thefts, thefts from vehicles, and larcenies.
