As a life-long resident of DeSoto County, I know DeSoto County is a great county and it's vital it stays that way.  It's important we foster quality development and ensure that our county is a great place to live moving forward.  We are currently facing several key issues in DeSoto County that include flooding, transportation, and maintaining our infrastructure to keep up with residential, commercial, and school development.  We must also look for ways to offer more opportunities for our residents to be able to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
