NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi, until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Office of Procurement, 365 Losher Street, Suite 300, Hernando, Mississippi, to replace a variable frequency drive on a 2011 McQuay centrifugal cooler chiller at 391 West South St, Hernando; at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. This project is under the jurisdiction of the Facilities Department of the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors.

Specifications are available by registering on the Procurement page of the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors website and printing the bid package at:  http://desotocountyms.gov and on file in the Office of Procurement, DeSoto County Administration Building, 365 Losher Street, Suite 300, Hernando Mississippi, during normal business hours at no charge.  Bid information is also available for download at www.centralbidding.com for a fee.   All bids must comply with the specifications provided.  DeSoto County reserves the right to amend the specifications, as necessary, and agrees to notify all having requested bid packets from the DeSoto County Office of Procurement and Central Bidding.  

Bids may be submitted via sealed envelope addressed to the Office of Procurement, 365 Losher Street, Suite 300, Hernando, Mississippi 38632, or submitted electronically via Central Bidding’s website.   For any questions relating to the electronic submission process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.  

The awarded bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days of award in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities.
