Household waste pick up in unincorporated DeSoto County will not run on Sept 1, 2014 and will be delayed by one day. Normal pick up schedules will return the following week. County curbside rubbish and debris collection WILL NOT run on Monday, July 4, 2014. Regularly scheduled routes will return Tuesday, Sept 2, 2014. The County’s Rubbish Pit on Sandidge Road will also be closed Monday, Sept 2nd. The Rubbish Pit will re-open on Tuesday at its regular hours of 7:00 am-4:30pm.
