[ARCHIVED] Grant Writing Workshop Date Moved

UPDATE: Due to the winter storm - the Grant Writing USA workshop has moved to February 5-6. Registrants will also received notification via email. 

Grant Writing USA will hold its two-day grant writing workshop at the DeSoto County Agri-Education Center on Jan. 29-30 February 5-6, from 9am to 4pm (lunch on your own from 12:00-1:20pm). The Agri-Ed is located on 1170 Starlanding Rd W, Nesbit. 

With no grant-writing classes offered within a two-hour radius, DeSoto County coordinated with Grant Writing USA to bring this highly requested, in-demand training available to DeSoto County and surrounding communities. 

Participants will learn how to craft winning government grant proposals and discover where to find available funding opportunities.

This two-day workshop is open to both beginners and experienced grant writers from government agencies, nonprofits, education, healthcare, and other sectors. You do not need to work in the same profession as the host agency.

Tuition is $525, which includes:

  • Two full days of professional instruction 
  • Grant Writing USA Workbook and resource materials
  • Lifetime access to the Grant Writing USA Alumni Resource Center
  • CEU credits available
