Our crews, along with some from Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association in Batesville, and Northeast Mississippi EPA in Oxford, have restored most of our circuits and feeder lines. Work has begun to restore service to those along those lines. We have no estimated time for completion, however our crews are out in full force. We plan to work a small crew throughout the night and give rest to those who have been at it for the last 16 hours.
As the ice begins to thaw and fall on the lines, we may experience more outages. This has been a battle throughout the day. We ask that anyone without power please call 1-866-438-2642. If there is damage to your meter base, we need to know, as you may need an electrical contractor for repairs before power can be restored.
