[ARCHIVED] Winter Weather Garbage & Rubbish Routes

Garbage and Rubbish Routes are still behind due to the Winter Weather. However, we encourage citizens in the Unincorporated areas of the County and Walls to place their carts out as normally scheduled. If the cart is not serviced, please leave it at the curb. Routes will be affected the rest of the week and into the weekend. Some will most likely be picked up a day or two late as Waste Connections attempts to catch up routes. Should there be more weather to cause delays, we ask all citizens leave their carts out into next week.

Waste Connections employees are diligently working their way through the routes to assure service to all customers. Safety of their employees and the citizens traveling the roads of DeSoto County are their number one priority. Customer service can be reached at 901-398-5400. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding during the recent weather activity.

Waste Connections will work into the weekend to try to assure all residences are serviced.

Weather Permitting, The County Rubbish Pit at Sandidge Rd. will be open regularly scheduled hours during the week (7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) and Saturday (7:30 a.m. – Noon).

For any questions please feel free to contact our office.
