At 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2020, the DeSoto River Park was closed due to high water. The Mississippi River is expected to be at flood stage (34 feet or higher) until at least April 1, 2020. Water is currently over the entrance road to the park. It is anticipated the park will remain closed until the second week of April.
