Red Banks Rd overpass at I-22/78 will close next week. MDOT will close the overpass from Monday, May 3 to Friday, May 7.
During the closure, MDOT crews will pave the final riding surface. The paving is part of a rehabilitation project that began earlier this year when the existing bridge deck was removed by hydrodemolition.
During the project, the I-22/78 ramps will be accessible. MDOT says advance warning signs will be in place. Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
