NEWS RELEASE: The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 8:00 am for the following items:
To consider the adoption of Amendments to the DeSoto County Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map, and the adoption of the Desoto County Medical Cannabis Ordinance. The proposed amendments occur throughout the ordinance and include, but are not limited to, new definitions and updates to the list of permitted and special land uses for each zoning district.
Zoning Ordinance Amendment – The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors will consider amending language in the Desoto County Zoning Ordinance.
Ordinance Creation - The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors will consider adopting the Desoto County Medical Cannabis Ordinance.
Copies of all proposed zoning amendments and the proposed new ordinance are available for inspection at the DeSoto County Planning Commission on the second floor of the DeSoto County Administration Building, 365 Losher Street, Hernando, Mississippi.
