Environmental Services 

The Environmental Services division seeks to prevent environmental hazards by implementing preventative measures and ordinances that educate and protect the public and private sector.

We protect our local environment and landscape by implementing county ordinances and promoting best management practices to preserve our natural resources for the future. We respond to any and all concerns from our citizens and governmental agencies and work diligently to educate the public on environmental issues.

DeSoto County maintains eight Parks and Greenways across unincorporated areas of the county. DeSoto County continually strives to provide the highest quality facilities and services for citizens and visitors.
