Program
On November 1, 2022, there were 608 residential addresses in Area D that did not have access to high-speed internet.
On January 3, 2023, the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors awarded AT&T an DeSoto County Broadband Deployment Grant to provide high-speed internet access to the 608 homes in Area D.
Scope of Work
Technology: Fiber Internet
Speed: At least 1 Gbps available to each location even at peak times. (Customers will be able to sign up for slower or faster internet if they want.)
Internet to home: All addresses on the Broadband Map will be able to receive fiber to the home.
Financials: Cost to provide access to every address.

Pricing
AT&T offers various speeds of service. It is up to each customer to determine which speed, if any, is appropriate to purchase.
